COVID Vaccination in Croatia
Will Not Be Compulsory,
Prime Minister Plenkovic Says

Zagreb - The vaccination against COVID-19 in Croatia will not be compulsory, Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said Tuesday, as quoted by the Jutarnji List daily. In his words, Croatia is a tourist country and its guests need to be sure that they will not catch the coronavirus, which is why the vaccination is so important.

He once again called on the citizens to get inoculated against COVID, noting that Croatia has 1.3 million unused vaccine doses. "Each vaccinated person, each prevented infection today is a saved life tomorrow," he underscored.

In the meantime, a Promocija Plus survey showed that one-fourth of Croatia's citizens do not intend to get vaccinated against COVID, the HINA reported.
