The leader of Velichie and MP candidate, Ivelin Mihaylov, met with supporters in Burgas on Wednesday. "The main problem in Bulgaria is the lack of freedom, the lack of equality, the lack of law enforcement", he said, equating Bulgaria to a ship "that is barely holding on and could sink at any moment".
"The problem in Bulgaria at the moment is not the lack of laws, but not adhering to them", Mihaylov stressed, adding that the police should not protect thugs and that he had evidence of vote-buying for certain politicians.
"Do you see us as citizens of Bulgaria getting any justice? I don't see it", Mihaylov said. According to him, the current Bulgarian politicians are "people whom even the devil would be scared of if he saw their records and misdeeds".
He added that this is the reason his party entered politics. "Many people thought that the thugs were gone for good in the 1990s. In fact, they are still here now and I can say that the country is even more lawless", the leader of Velichie said.
