BSP-United Left MP candidate Maya Manolova Wednesday said that "after many years of government by GERB and their notorious water reform," the situation in Haskovo and the region is deplorable, and called for compensation for the time people are left without water. Manolova visited the town to declare full support for top-of-the-list candidate Vladimir Marinov and the party's MP candidates in the region.
She said that water in the region is expensive and not drinkable and that people loyal to GERB and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms are on the management of the water and sewerage company in Haskovo.
"BSP-United Left offers solutions for the financing and development of new water sources, scrapping of the uniform water price, and tying price to quality, as well as support for municipal water companies, which should also maintain dams," Manolova said.
