President Rumen Radev will visit Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Radev's press secretariat said on Monday. The Bulgarian head of State will participate in the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII9) forum in the capital Riyadh.

On Monday, October 27, President Radev will meet with representatives of the Bulgarian community in Saudi Arabia. The reception will be held at the Bulgarian Embassy in Riyadh. On October 28, Radev will attend the official opening of FII9. Later, he will participate in a discussion on the true cost of economic security. According to the announcement, during the forum, the President will hold bilateral meetings at the highest political level.

The forum brings together heads of state, government leaders, politicians, investors, business representatives, and innovators from around the world to discuss challenges and opportunities in the modern world, as well as ways to stimulate economic development and investment. The Future Investment Initiative is organized by the FII Institute, a non-governmental organization focusing on topics such as high-tech development, robotics, artificial intelligence, education, healthcare, and sustainable development. The international event is part of Saudi Arabia's strategic plan for economic development and modernization titled Vision 2030, the announcement added.
