site.btaForeign Ministry Expresses Condolences to Azerbaijan over Deadly Airplane Crash in Kazakhstan

The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry expressed Thursday heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Azerbaijan after the tragic crash of the passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines in Kazakhstan, which took the lives of more than 30 people.

"On today's Day of Mourning our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragic incident," the Foreign Ministry wrote on X. 

An Azerbaijani passenger plane with 67 people on board crashed earlier on Wednesday near the Kazakhstani Caspian Sea port city of Aktau. Bulgarian President Rumen Radev also expressed condolences on Wednesday.
