site.btaVice President Iotova to Represent Bulgaria at 19th Francophonie Summit in France

Vice President Iliana Iotova will participate in the 19th Francophonie Summit on Friday and Saturday, the press office of the presidential institution said.

The forum, which will be held in Paris and at the International Village of the French Language in Villers-Cotterets, will focus on creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in French.

The Vice President will address the plenary session of the Summit. Iotova will participate in round tables dedicated to international challenges and opportunities for cooperation, changes related to the digital age, opportunities for young people in francophone countries.

The Vice President will present Bulgaria's experience in learning the French language, from primary education to doctoral degrees, as well as the initiatives in connection with the 30th anniversary of the country's full membership in the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, which has 88 member countries.
Caretaker  Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov led the Bulgarian delegation to participate in the 45th session of the Ministerial Conference of the Francophonie which was held in Paris on October 3.

The development of Bulgaria's relations with the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie positions this country among the reliable and leading partners of the organization in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, according to information on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
