Stiliyana Nikolova won the gold medal in the all-around at the 40th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Thus, Bulgaria retained its title after Boryana Kalein became champion last year in Baku. This time she placed fourth.

The 18-year-old Nikolova performed extremely strongly in all four of her compositions and received a total of 143.750 points (35.700 in hoop, 37.200 in ball, 36.050 in clubs, 34.800 in ribbon).

She started with a great performance on bars and received 36.050 points, then on bars she was also perfect and was rated with 34.800 points. These are the highest ratings of both devices.

Boryana Kalein finished in fourth place. The Bulgarian, who was defending her title from Baku 2023, received a total of 135.550 points (34.150 on hoop, 33.300 on ball, 34.300 on clubs and 33.800 points).
