Three-time European women's doubles champions Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva qualified Thursday for the quarterfinals of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Super 300 tournament with a prize fund of 210,000 dollars, which serves as a qualification for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The Bulgarians, the No. 7 seed in the tournament’s draw, won 21-15, 21-12 against Spanish players Paulo Lopez and Lucia Rodriguez.

Their next opponents will be the winners of the match between No. 1 seed Rin Iwanaga and Kie Nakanishi (Japan) and Yu-Hsun Huang and Ting Yu Liang (Taiwan).
