site.btaBulgaria to Host Junior Artistic Gymnastics Balkan Championships

Bulgaria will host the Junior Balkan Artistic Gymnastics Championships. The competition will take place between September 18 and 22 in Arena Sofia. The Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation’s candidacy to host the event was preferred by the member countries of the Balkan Gymnastics Union over that of Croatia. This is the tournament’s third edition. The first two editions (2022, 2023) were held in Turkiye.

Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation President Krasimir Dunev expects that the competition will gather athletes from ten Balkan countries. "This is yet another way to promote gymnastics in Bulgaria and in the Balkans. It is also an opportunity for young athletes to gain valuable experience, measuring their strength with their peers from other countries", he said.
