site.btaSofia to Host Europe's Largest Car Show in October

Sofia will host Europe's largest car show in 2024, Association of Car Manufacturers (ACM) Management Board Chair Alexander Kostadinov said at а news conference in BTA’s national press club in Sofia on Monday. Sofia Motor Show 2024 will take place between October 18 and 27 at Inter Expo Centre.

The forum is organized for the 26th time. This year's event includes the largest number of participants and premieres ever, Kostadinov explained. Visitors will be able to see cars that are already on sale as well as some that are yet to come on the market. The cars on display represent the direction in which mobility in Europe will evolve. "The vision is for affordable and carbon-neutral mobility, to improve the environment, the lives of everyone and the continent's economy. Today, the Paris show starts, but the one in Sofia will be the biggest one", the ACM Management Board Chair stressed.

The official opening will be on Friday, October 19. New models, vintage cars, as well as collectors’ motorhomes will be on display. There will also be a National Police stand with new equipment, cameras and luxury law enforcement vehicles. There visitors will also be able to check if they have any fines to pay.

Car parts, tyres and oils, as well as charging stations for electric vehicles will also be presented to the public. Tickets for the event are available online and at the door.
