site.btaConsolidated Fiscal Programme Indicates BGN 1.4 Billion Surplus at end-June 2023

According to preliminary data and estimates, the Consolidated Fiscal Programme (CFP) is expected to show a surplus of BGN 1.4 billion as of end-June 2023, the Finance Ministry said Friday. Cumulatively for the past half of the year, the CFP surplus is expected to be around BGN 200 million (0.1% of projected GDP). For comparison, a surplus of BGN 1.2 billion was reported for the first half of 2022.
