Unemployment in the European Union in January 2023 remained at the same level as in December 2022 (6.1%). It is down from January 2022, when it was 6.3%, according to the latest Eurostat data. In the Eurozone, seasonally adjusted January unemployment also remained at the December 2022 level of 6.7%, down from January 2022's 6.9%.
