Artist Simona Bosilkova will present a new exhibition at Pagane Gallery in Sofia on October 10, the Gallery announced on Thursday.

"The artist draws inspiration from nature, the animal world and human emotions, filtering them through her surrealist lens. Her paintings create magical symbioses between humans and animals, intertwined with everyday objects and symbols of the inner world. The works convey a sense of movement and life, as if the characters come alive to tell their own stories," the gallery team said.

Bosilkova was born in Sofia in 1988 and holds a master’s degree in economics from Sofia University. Her career took her to San Francisco, where she participated in a street exhibition organized by one of the city’s oldest galleries, marking the start of her presence on the international art scene. Her works combine mixed media, experimenting with water colour, ink and acrylic, and feature bright colours and collage techniques.
