site.bta15th International Conference on Digital Preservation of Heritage to Be Held in Burgas, September 25-28

The 15th International Conference on Digital Presentation and Preservation of Cultural and Scientific Heritage will take place from September 25 to 28 at the Sea Casino Cultural Centre in Burgas, the Burgas Regional History Museum said on Tuesday.

The conference aims to showcase innovations, projects, and scientific and applied developments in digital documentation, archiving, presentation, and preservation of tangible and intangible cultural and scientific heritage at the national and global levels.

The main focus is on ensuring open access to digitized national cultural and scientific heritage and pursuing sustainable policies for its continued digital preservation and preservation.

The conference is organized by the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, under the patronage of UNESCO and with the support of the Scientific Research Fund and the Burgas Municipality. The Regional Academic Centre of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Burgas, the Burgas Regional History Museum, the Burgas Regional Library, the Burgas State University and the Burgas Free University are co-organizers.
