The final of the 2025 FameLab Bulgaria competition will be held on May 11, the Beautiful Science Foundation said on Tuesday. The event is part of the 16th Sofia Science Festival, which will take place between May 8 and 11.

After five rounds were already held, including one at the Bulgarian Antarctic Base on Livingston Island, 12 finalists will take part in the festival's closing event.

Participants will present their three-minute stories from various scientific fields. One of them will have the opportunity to represent Bulgaria at the international final at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in November.

While the jury is deliberating, the world's first FameLab winner, Britain's Mark Lewney, will present.
