Conditions for tourism in the mountains are good on Friday, according to the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross. Hikers are advised to set off early, to have their phones charged, to be well dressed for the mountains, to have enough fluids and food, sweets, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen and to follow the designated routes.

Before noon, it will be mostly sunny in the mountains, with temporary increases in cloud cover, mainly over the Rhodopes, where there will be short-lived rain showers in some places, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said. There will be a moderate, temporarily strong wind from the west-northwest. Highs at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 22C, around 15C at 2,000 m.
