site.bta"Sunday Walk" Exhibition by Vladimir Shunev Opens at Art Gallery Paris
The Sunday Walk exhibition by Vladimir Shunev will be showcased at the Art Gallery Paris from November 7 to 22, the organizers said here on Wednesday. It is also available to visitors of the gallery website.
The exhibition features twenty-eight canvases with snowy, autumnal, spring, and summer landscapes. Shunev’s work blends urban and rural scenes, with a particular focus on cozy Western European streets and large, American-style cars – a unique choice uncharacteristic of Bulgarian themes. His nocturnal pastoral scenes add a magical touch, with reflections in the water improving their romantic atmosphere, Nadya Pavlova from Gallery Paris said.
Born in 1961 in Dupnitsa, Shunev initially trained as an engineer before dedicating himself to art in 1990. With over twenty-five solo exhibitions, he has participated in numerous group shows and plein air events. Shunev has also received awards from Bulgaria’s Regional Exhibition Struma-95 and Lebanon’s International Painting Symposium Alley-2002.
