site.btaPhoto Exhibition to Commemorate Actor Petar Slabakov's 100th Anniversary
A photo exhibition on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of actor Petar Slabakov will be unveiled at the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFIZ) in Sofia on Friday. The exhibition curated by Bilyana Nikolova is the last in a series of events dedicated to the actor's anniversary, NATFIZ said.
After the official opening, the organizers will screen the 2003 documentary Bashta Mi (My Father) directed by Andrey Slabakov, who is also Petar Slabakov's son. Every Tuesday the NATFIZ auditorium will screen feature films starring Petar Slabakov.
The schedule is as follows:
January 9 - A Cricket in the Ear (1976) directed by Georgi Stoyanov
January 16 - Illusion (1980) directed by Ludmil Staikov
January 23 - Zdrachavane (Twilight, shot in 1976, released in 1989), directed by Nikola Minchev
January 30 - Zlatnata Reka (The Golden River, released in 1983) directed by Ivanka Grybcheva
