Speaking to reporters in Plovdiv on Wednesday, President Rumen Radev said that he had no intention of spoiling the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Plovdiv Medical University with what he described as “cheap political theatre,” referring to a statement made the previous day by GERB leader Boyko Borissov.
The head of State said he would comment on the matter on Thursday.
Radev was in Plovdiv to attend the university’s anniversary ceremony, where he greeted the leadership, faculty, and alumni of the higher education institution.
