site.btaSummer Tourist Season in Pomorie Officially Kicks Off with Concert
The Ministry of Tourism kicked off the summer tourist season with a concert on the southern beach in Pomorie on Saturday. It began with the premiere of the song "Free" by Stefan Valdobrev and "The Usual Suspects."
Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh told reporters that the summer is off to a very good start and expectations are high for a good tourist season.
Official guests at the event included Minister of Energy Zhecho Stankov, Burgas Regional Governor Vladimir Krumov, Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, representatives of the diplomatic corps, members of parliament, mayors of coastal municipalities, and others.
Before the opening of the season, an official ceremony was held at the fishing port in Pomorie to raise the national tricolor flag and award the port with the "Blue Flag".
