 The Yes, Bulgaria party supports the appeal of public figures who have called for the nomination of a unified presidential candidate of the democratic community through primary elections, the party’s press center said on Tuesday.

"We are already moving in the same direction. One of the strategic decisions adopted at the Fourth National Conference of Yes, Bulgaria, held on April 27, is the 'holding of primary elections and unification of the democratic Right-wing to nominate a candidate worthy of a European Bulgaria for president,'" the statement said.

"We believe that through the strong democratic legitimacy of a single presidential nomination, supported by the entire democratic community—including political parties, NGOs, independent initiatives, and citizens—we can achieve victory in the elections next fall. This victory would guarantee the irreversibility of this country's Euro-Atlantic path and be a crucial factor in the fight against captured institutions," the statement added.
