There Is Such a People leader Stanislav Trifonov has expressed his sincerest condolences to North Macedonia following the nightclub fire tragedy on Sunday. "Tragedy does not choose countries, time, age, circumstance. It is the worst when young people die. Now it has visited North Macedonia," he wrote on Facebook. 

"I sincerely believe and know that Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Government will do everything possible to provide assistance and support the families of the dead and injured," Trifonov added.

Fifty one people have died in a nightclub fire in North Macedonia. The blaze broke out in the early hours of Sunday in Kocani, a town around 100 km east of the capital, Skopje. Some 1,500 people were said to have been attending a concert. According to local media reports, the fire may have been caused by the use of pyrotechnic devices.
