Commenting on the upcoming recalculation of the parliamentary elections' results, Environment and Water Minister Manol Genov told Nova TV on Saturday evening that the government might become a minority one. A possible option is to look for another majority, he believes.

If the Velichie party makes it into Parliament after the recalculation, the ruling coalition will think about its next step. "Such a formula could also happen that this majority will not consist of 125 or 126 MPs, but 121 or 122 - it all depends on the results that will be announced," he noted.

In his words, the opposition is quite divided. The reasons why Democratic Bulgaria withdrew from the government-forming negotiations were unclear to him.

Genov said that so far he could not voice any serious complaints about the functioning of the ruling coalition. "As Minister of Environment and Water, I have not felt any tension between the partners," he added.
