Bulgarian Foreign Minister to Take Part in 61st Munich Security Conference

Foreign Affairs Minister Georg Georgiev will travel to Munich, Germany where he will take part in the 61st edition of the Munich Security Conference, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday.

In the last six decades, this forum has established itself as one of the most important forums for meetings and discussions on security issues. Each year, the Munich Conference brings together world leaders and opinion leaders to discuss current challenges facing global security policy.

This year, the focus of the Munich Conference debates will once again be on global security challenges, including global governance, the state of international order and democratic sustainability, regional conflicts and crises, the future of the transatlantic partnership, climate security and much more, the release said.
