site.btaBulgarian Foreign Ministry Issues Statement on Recent Developments in Syria

In connection with the latest developments in Syria, the Foreign Ministry of Bulgaria warns Bulgarian citizens to avoid all travel to the Syrian Arab Republic and to leave the country immediately, the Ministry's press office said Friday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends Bulgarian citizens residing on the territory of Syria to take advantage of the still existing possibilities to leave the country on their own via the Jadeite Yabus border crossing with the Lebanese Republic and on civilian flights operated from Damascus International Airport.
