Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) top-of-the-list candidate in Silistra Bogomil Petkov met with elderly voters from the Ivan Baichev Club for Retired Teachers here on Wednesday.

"You are enlightened people. If you manage to convince at least one person to vote, Bulgaria will be different", Petkov said at the meeting. He presented data according to which in 2020 the average pension in the country was BGN 382, ​​while after the participation of CC-DB in the government the average pension has reached BGN 883 in 2024.

The elderly people stated that at the national level efforts should be made to build a better social environment for pensioners who have been engaged in creative and intellectual work during their careers. They shared their need for places where people who have devoted their lives to culture and education can gather.

Petkov presented the members of the club with a tree, which they can plant in a place of their choice. MP candidates Vesela Todorova, Eli Ivanova and Radoslav Georgiev also attended the meeting.
