site.btaPM Glavchev Summons Security Council to Discuss Tensions in Middle East

Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev is convening the Security Council on Wednesday at 5 p.m. to discuss the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, the Cabinet press service reported.

The Council chaired by Glavchev is comprised of caretaker Minister of Interior Atanas Ilkov, of Defence Atanas Zapryanov, of Foreign Affairs Ivan Kondov, of Finance Lyudmila Petkova, of e-Government Valentin Mundrov.

Other members include the heads of the State Agency for National Security, the State Intelligence Agency, the Defence Intelligence Service and the National Service for Protection.

President Rumen Radev convokes the Consultative Council on National Security for an extraordinary meeting on Friday, said the President's Press Secretariat earlier Wednesday.
