"We must put all our strength to lead our country out of the timelessness and hopelessness that has reigned for the past years," said the leader of the Bulgarian Rise party, Stefan Yanev, quoted in a press release of the party on Tuesday.

It is time to restore statehood and take back our country. Success is built with consent. That is why politicians must join forces for the sake of the Bulgarian national interest, he said speaking to supporters during the launch of the election campaign here on Tuesday. Yanev is his party's leading candidate in Sofia's 24th and Plovdiv's 16th multimember constituencies.

"We are entering the race for the trust of the citizens with a strong team of motivated people who share the belief that the success of every Bulgarian is the success of Bulgaria and this is achievable here and now," said Yanev, whose party is No. 27 on the ballot.

Yanev pointed out that Bulgaria should be governed by people who love their homeland, are firmly on the ground and have proven what they can do.
