site.btaGERB-UDF Election Campaign Kicks Off with Blessing-of-waters Rituals Across Bulgaria

GERB-UDF coalition launched their election campaign on Saturday with a blessing-of-waters ritual in Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo, Yambol, Pazardzhik, Vidin and Vratsa, GERB's press centre told BTA. 

"Hate cannot build, it can only destroy. GERB is a guarantor of stability, security and construction. We love Sofia," said the leader of the list of the 24 Multi- Member Constituency (MIR) Yordanka Fandakova before the blessing of waters in Sofia. 

"The only thing that can unite us as a nation in this time of confrontation is education - caring for children and young people should be a common goal. This is one of the main priorities in GERB's governance programme," she added.

In the words of the leader of the list in the 23rd MIR Raya Nazaryan, GERB will be a guarantor of stability, predictability and restoration of public-political dialogue.

"GERB will continue to be close to the people as always. Without the support of Bulgarian citizens we cannot get out of the political crisis," Nazaryan said.
