site.btaPresident Radev Holds Talks with Parliament Chair Nazaryan, Central Bank Deputy Governor Chobanov as Part of Caretaker Cabinet Appointment Procedure

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev has held phone talks with the Chair of the 50th National Assembly, Raya Nazaryan, and Bulgarian National Bank Deputy Governor Petar Chobanov as part of the constitutional procedure for appointing a caretaker cabinet, the head of State’s Press Secretariat said on Wednesday. 

Chobanov and Nazaryan are in a pool of individuals eligible to be nominated by the President for prime minister of a caretaker government as defined in Article 99, paragraph 5 of the Constitution.
