"With regards to support for the second mandate, we have a clear decision of the National Council that we have to implement," BSP for Bulgaria deputy floor leader Ivan Ivanov said ahead of Wednesday's parliamentary sitting.

BSP’s National Council decided that the party will not support the second government-forming mandate.

I think there are still opportunities not to go to another early parliamentary elections with the third mandate and we have said this more than once, said floor leader Borislav Gutsanov,

Gutsanov said that regardless of who will get the third mandate, the political formation should have the will to formulate the main priorities of the state and the people and to find a way to unite around itself experts and people who are ready to make a cabinet of national salvation.

"Whichever party the third mandate goes to, we are ready to support it, as long as it has this vision," he said.
