Navy Commander Rear Admiral Kiril Mihaylov paid an official visit to Turkiye between April 17 and 19, the Navy said on Tuesday. The visit was at the invitation of the Turkish Naval Forces Commander, Admiral Ercument Tatlıoglu.  

A briefing on the functions, tasks, actions and projects for modernization of the Turkish Navy was held before the Bulgarian Commander. A discussion was held on issues of mutual interest, focusing on the security situation in the Black Sea, as well as further strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation between the Turkish Navy and Bulgaria.
