site.btaBulgaria and Poland to Continue Exchange of Students, Scholars, Lecturers

The Council of Ministers approved Wednesday a draft programme for cooperation between Bulgaria's Education Ministry and Poland's Science Ministry in the field of science and higher education for the period 2024-2027. It provides for annual reciprocal scholarships for students to study for a period of one semester and to participate in summer language courses, as well as to conduct short-term specializations.

The countries will exchange lecturers and professors teaching Bulgarian and Polish languages. The development of direct cooperation between institutions from both countries in the field of research, innovation and joint research projects will be encouraged.

The programme is implemented on the basis of an agreement between the governments of Bulgaria and Poland on cultural and scientific cooperation, signed in Warsaw on February 25, 1993.
