site.btaOrganised Crime Group Distributing Forged Documents Busted in Shumen

An organised crime group that made and distributed forged official documents was neutralised in a specialised operation of the Chief Directorate for Combating Organised Crime here on March 17, the press centre of the Shumen Regional Directorate of Interior said Tuesday. Five persons were detained, two of whom while making a deal with forged Bulgarian passports.

Charges have been brought against four of the arrestees, one of whom has been remanded in custody for 72 hours. The others will remain in custody for 24 hours.

The investigation continues.
