site.btaBG-ALERT System to Be Tested in Part of Country

The BG-ALERT early warning system will be tested in several areas of the country on Tuesday, the website of the warning system warned.

Tuesday's tests will be on the territory of the Vidin, Vratsa, Lovech, Montana and Pleven regions. For half an hour, between noon and 12:30 pm, a message containing text in Bulgarian and English will be broadcast.

The one-time receipt of the message on mobile devices is expected to be accompanied by a specific sound and vibration, even with silent mode enabled.

On Wednesday, there will be a test of the system in the regions of Veliko Tarnovo, Razgrad, Ruse and Silistra.
