BTA Director General Kiril Valchev presented on Wednesday a commemorative medal for the 125th anniversary of the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) to Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) Chairman Hristo Grigorov on the occasion of the celebration of the BRC's 145th anniversary.

Earlier in the day, a ceremony was held to celebrate the anniversary of the BRC under the auspices of head of State Rumen Radev. It was attended by the President and his wife Desislava Radeva, as well as National Ombudsman Diana Kovatcheva.

"The Bulgarian Red Cross is an institution that has always lent a helping hand. The hand it has lent is very strong, because we have managed to put into action the formula - unite and solve problems," Grigorov said during the ceremony.
