Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, who participated in a forum organized by the Capital magazine dedicated to having businesses meet the government here on Tuesday, said that the country's political system should be stabilized, and the country's credibility should be improved internationally.

"Our programme is planned until the end of 2024 with the clear statement that, if everything goes well, we will be ready to move forward," the Prime Minister said. He stressed that the government has priorities related to improving institutions, integrating Bulgaria into various international structures and modernizing the Bulgarian economy.

The Prime Minister stated that the country needs reforms that have been delayed. He added that the government has been working actively in recent months, which resulted in significant progress in the justice system. He also pointed to the need for reforms in the state administration.

Denkov noted the need to integrate Bulgaria into various structures, such as Schengen, the eurozone and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

The modernization of the Bulgarian economy was another priority the Prime Minister emphasized. "Our region and the countries in it need to work together, and we have the ambition to become one of the leading regions in Europe," Denkov said.
