site.btaZoonoses Institute to Be Set Up at Trakia University in Stara Zagora

A zoonoses institute ONE HEALTH will be unveiled in the structure of the Trakia University in Stara Zagora (Southeastern Bulgaria), the Council of Ministers decided on Wednesday. The main goals of the new institute will be applied epidemiology; applied research and development activities will be carried out through applied research and experimental development activity, educational and project activity, information and communication activity.

ONE HEALTH will be a modern institute for infectious diseases of humans and animals that meets the challenges facing global healthcare's development and uses the opportunities for countering pandemics.

The proposal for the new institute's establishment was made by the Trakia University Rector following a decision by the academic stuff.
