Foreign Ministry’s Situation Centre Directorate and the Bulgarian Embassy in Tel Aviv managed to secure 57 seats for Bulgarian citizens on an October 11 flight of a private airline from Israel to Bulgaria, the Ministry said on Wednesday.

A total of 29 tourists, families with small children and citizens in particularly risky areas are among those successfully evacuated from this country.

Subject to the security situation, travel between Tel Aviv and Sofia remains possible through regular flights of Bulgaria Air and El Al, as well as through the Haifa - Larnaca (Cyprus) ferry service.

All Bulgarian citizens currently residing in Israel on a short-term basis, as well as several humanitarian cases, will be evacuated through the realization of those travel options.

The Bulgarian Embassy in Tel Aviv informed that Ben Gurion Airport continues to operate at limited capacity.

The Situation Centre Directorate at the Foreign Ministry and the Bulgarian Embassy in Tel Aviv are drawing up a list of Bulgarian citizens willing to be evacuated from Israel, which will be used in the event of a future flight out of the country.
