site.btaForeign Minister Gabriel to Open Annual Conference of Heads of Bulgaria's Missions Abroad

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel will open the Annual Conference of the Foreign Minister with the heads of Bulgaria's foreign missions on September 29. The conference is titled "Bulgaria in the Multipolar World: Challenges, Priorities, Solutions".

The event will be attended by ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary, permanent representatives in international organizations and consuls general of Bulgaria, as well as representatives of the executive branch, including ministers and deputy ministers.

Topics discussed will include: security and defence, the rule of law and Bulgaria's accession to Schengen, cooperation in the field of innovation, this country's accession to the Eurozone and the OECD. The possibilities of cultural diplomacy, cooperation in the field of education, work with Bulgarian communities abroad and current issues for the Bulgarian diplomatic service will also be discussed.
