Minister of Defence Todor Tagarev and Slovenian Ambassador to Bulgaria Natasha Bergel discussed on Friday possibilities for deepening the cooperation between the two countries in the field of security and defence.

Emphasis was also placed on the prospects and opportunities for cooperation in the field of education and training of military personnel. 

The desire to further develop and deepen defence relations between the two countries as NATO and EU member states was confirmed. 

The meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Defence, was also attended by Lieutenant General Tsanko Stoykov, Deputy Chief of Defence, and Colonel Lyubomir Monov, acting head of the Defence Policy and Planning Directorate.
