site.btaNational Assembly Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov to Go on Official Visit to Georgia

A parliamentary delegation led by National Assembly Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov will go on an official visit to Georgia on September 14 and 15, 2023, at the invitation of Georgian Parliament Chair Shalva Papuashvili.

The official visit will begin with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument to Heroes who died for the territorial integrity of Georgia.

Zhelyazkov and his delegation will have a meeting with Papuashvili, followed by a joint statement for the media representatives.

The Bulgarian parliamentary delegation will talk with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia,  Levan Davitashvili.

As part of the visit, the Bulgarian delegation will visit the European Union Monitoring Mission on the occupation line near the central Georgian village of Odzisi.

The members of the delegation are MPs Alexander Ivanov (PG of GERB-UDF), Daniel Lorer (PG Continue the Change), Yordan Todorov (PG Vazrazhdane), Bayram Bayram (PG of Movement for Rights and Freedoms), Petar Kanev (PG BSP for Bulgaria) and the chairman of the PG of  There Is Such a People, Toshko Yordanov.
