Parents and relatives of children killed in traffic accidents came out in protest Friday in front of the National Assembly building with demands for stricter punishments for drivers who cause death on the road.

In the morning, Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov talked to the protestors on his way into the Parliament building and undertook to speak with the party leaders, the Minister of Justice and the Prosecutor General, in order to organize a meeting.

Petya Ivanova, a mother of a child who died in a traffic accident, told journalists that this will be the last peaceful protest. Going forward, every Sunday, the protestors will shot down roads, main routes at rush hour.
