International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach took part in a ceremony at the National Sports Academy's (NSA) Education and Olympic Centre on Thursday. He was awarded NSA’s highest honour, a gold badge, for his contribution to the development of sport, Olympic values and for the promotion of the National Sports Academy, of which he holds the title doctor honoris causa. The award was presented by NSA Rector Prof. Nikolay Izov.
