At its plenary sitting on Friday, Bulgaria's National Assembly transacted business as follows:

-- adopted conclusively amendments to the BULSTAT Register Act which introduce registered access to BULSTAT data upon identification through a qualified e-signature or a digital certificate. The changes have been sponsored by MPs of the ruling coalition. Personal data which are used for identification will be entered in the register but wonТt be publicly accessible.  

-   voted conclusively amendments to the E-government Act to close the State E-government Agency. All powers exercised by its chair will be transferred to the Minister for E-government. A hundred and twenty-eight MP voted in favour, seven were against and one abstained.  The amendments provide for a new executive agency which will oversee control over the public administration network. The Council for Cyber Security under the Council of Ministers will be headed by the Minister for E-government.

-- The Movement for Rights and Freedoms called for a hearing of Finance Minister Assen Vassilev about the situation with the National Recovery and Resilience Plan in a declaration read by MP Dzhevdet Chakarov. The MRF urged for guaranteeing national interests and reaching a supraparty consensus.  


-- Speaking to journalists in Parliament Justice Minister Nadezhda Yordanova said that as soon as possible she will submit a proposal to the Supreme Judicial Council for the early dismissal of the Prosecutor General. On Tuesday a Constitutional Court ruling which allows the Justice Minister to move for the early dismissal of the presidents of the two highest courts and the Prosecutor General was gazetted.

-- Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) deputy floor leader Yordan Tzonev told a news briefing in Parliament that the MRF will alert the prosecution about transactions with electricity generated from RES and possible concealment of profits. PP
