Traffic is normal at all border control check points, the General Directorate Border Police reported on their website early Thursday.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic lights to let vehicles through in stages at the Giurgiu-Ruse bridge over the Danube between December 20, 2024, and January 7, 2025. Alternative routes can go through the checkpoints at Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kaynardzha or Krushari. Kaynardzha and Krushari are open daily between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., and lorries are not allowed through them.
