site.btaNedelino Municipality Gets Twinned with Turkish Municipality of Atakum

Nedelino Municipal Council unanimously voted at a meeting on Thursday for twinning with the Turkish municipality of Atakum, Samsun Province. The sitting was attended by a three-member delegation of Turkiye headed by Guray Aydin, who will participate in the 23rd Nedelino Folk Festival scheduled to take place between September 6 and 8.

The Mayor of Nedelino, Boyan Kehayov, received a twinning proposal signed by Atakum Mayor Serhat Turkel. At the signing, Kehayov said: "We have a lot to learn from each other and and we have experience to draw on. Both your intentions and ours are to respect the principles of equality and democratic values."
