site.btaHundreds Attend Easter Service at Bulgarian St. Stephen Church in Istanbul
The Bulgarian St. Stephen Church, located in Istanbul's Golden Horn and known as the Iron Church, was full of people on Sunday who came to attend the Easter service, headed by Bishop Tikhon, Patriarchal Vicar.
The solemn service was attended by priests from Bulgaria, as well as the priest of the Bulgarian churches in Turkiye, Archimandrite Charalampy Nichev.
The Consulate General of Bulgaria in Istanbul was represented by the Bulgarian Consul, Radoslava Kafedzhiska.
Traditionally, the Gospel was read in different languages, including Turkish.
