Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has issued a decree appointing new Turkish ambassadors to nine countries, including Bulgaria, Haber 7 reported. The decree has been promulgated in a state gazette and has entered into force.
Mehmet Sait Uyanik has been appointed as the new Turkish Ambassador to Bulgaria. He will replace Aylin Sekizkok, whose term in office has expired. The new Turkish Ambassador to Bulgaria has served as Deputy Director General for International Jurisprudence at the Turkish Foreign Ministry. Mehmet Sait Uyanik has experience working on regional issues. Previously, he served as consul general of the Republic of Turkiye in Geneva, CNN Turk reported.
Turkiye also has new ambassadors to the US, Chille, Guatemala, Guinea, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Ecuador.
