Turkiye registered record exports in the first quarter of 2024. In March, the country's exports amounted to USD 22.6 billion, Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat said, quoted by the state TV TRT-Haber.
Bolat said that I that in terms of exports, in the first quarter marked a historic record.
Turkiye's March import figures stood at USD 30.95 billion and the foreign trade deficit was USD 7.72 billion, statistics indicated.
At the end of last year, Turkiye's exports amounted to USD 255.8 billion. The Turkish authorities also defined these values as record.
